Holocaust Remembrance Day Monday, April 20th, 2009: Kaskeset sings ‘The Last Butterfly;’ at the Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) event on campus. Like every year, everybody was touched by everyone that spoke, and we all remember why we keep this day.

Workshop at Bet Torah Sunday, March 29th, 2009: The next day, we gave two workshops on B’tzelem Elokim, which means “In God’s Image” to some of the kids who attend Hebrew School there. They loved us, and we loved them..it was a great time all around.

Performance at Bet Torah in Westchester, NY Saturday, March 28th, 2009: Kaskeset travelled to Westchester to perform at Bet Torah. We had a 45 minute set, and the audience loved every minute of it.

Boston Teaching Workshops Monday, February 20th, 2009: The next day, we taught some kids a few of our songs at Ari and Benny’s high school. They were really fast learners, and we had fun teaching them.

Brandeis Performance Sunday, February 15th, 2009: Kaskeset travels to Boston to perform for a packed house at Brandeis University; along with several other Jewish a cappella groups. We love Boston, and had a great time singing for everyone. Here’s a picture of us the next day at Ari’s house:

Spring 09 Dollar Show! Saturday, February 14th 2009: As always, Kaskeset sang our hearts out at the Spring Dollar Show, performing Jerusalem, Lesham, Medley, and V’ahavta. We also got two new members! Congratulations to Dan Bryan and Jared Balavram.

JCFPA Festival Saturday, February 8th, 2009: Kaskeset performs at the JCFPA festival at JTS in New York City. We loved hearing all the other a cappella groups, and had a great time performing. We got great audience feedback on our performance of ‘It Takes Three to Medley,’ ‘Lesham,’ and ‘Yihiye Tov.’ Some of our alumni came to support us! We’re looking forward to performing again next year.

Tour 2009 January, 2009: Kaskeset goes on its 4th annual winter tour, this time to the New York City, Long Island, and New Jersey area before flying down to Florida. We had a blast, especially in sunny Florida. W performed some very memorable gigs, and met some very unforgettable people. More pictures will be on the way!

Six13 Opening Performance Saturday, December 20th, 2008: Kaskeset travels down to Manhattan to open up for a very exciting gig with Six13! We opened up their debut show for their new album, and we had a great time doing so.

Fall 2008 Semester Show Saturday, November 22nd, 2008: Kaskeset’s semester show in Casadeseus Hall is a sellout performance, and was loved by both the group, and the audience. Thanks to everyone who came and helped make a great show!

Parents Weekend Fall 2008 Saturday, October 18th, 2008: Kaskeset performs a fun, three song set at Parents Weekend. It was our first gig of the semester and we had a great time.

Fall 08 Dollar Show! Saturday, September 13th, 2008: It’s that time of year again, and Kaskeset blew the lecture halls away at the Fall Dollar Show, and got six new members! Congradulations and welcome to: Max Buckler, Benny Summers, Arielle Sokoloff, Leah Nagorsky, Ari Hausman, Samantha Van Adelsberg.

| Hillel Barbeque in Dickinson Sunday, August 31st 2008: Kaskeset performs for the Hillel barbeque by the Dickinson Ampitheatre. We might have been small in numbers, but we had a good sound and a good time singing! |

Temple Israel, New Rochelle Tuesday, May 20th 2008: Kaskeset performs for the congregation at Temple Israel in New Rochelle. It was a great way to end the semester, and the audience enjoyed us too.
