In coordination with Binghamton University's Accepted Students Weekend, Hillel at Binghamton will be hosting our second annual Accepted Students Shabbaton. This Shabbaton gives accepted Jewish students the opportunity to experience what Jewish life is like at Binghamton University by spending a Shabbat on campus as guests of our Hillel and our amazing Jewish student community.
Our 2017 Shabbaton will begin Friday, April 21st in the evening and will conclude on Sunday, April 23rd.

On Friday night, Hillel will have Friday night services (Reform, Conservative, and Orthodox), a fully catered Shabbat dinner, and a lively and inspiring Shabbat oneg with singing and dessert.
On Saturday, we will be offering Shabbat morning services followed by a lunch and interactive Q&A session for both parents and students. Shabbat-friendly activities and programming will be available throughout the afternoon where high school students will be able to interact with other accepted students and ask questions of current Binghamton students. Shabbat concludes with Seudah Shlishit (the third meal of Shabbat), followed by Maariv and Havdallah.
Following the Shabbaton, on Sunday, during the university's Admissions Open House for students and parents, Hillel staff and students will be available in the Hillel office to talk with students and parents throughout the day. Students and parents will also be able to attend tours and information sessions provided by university admissions throughout the weekend.
