Women's Cabaret
Kaskeset ladies performed Haray At at the Chabad women's cabaret. It was so nice to watch all of the talented women at Binghamton!

Go Bearcats!
Kaskeset performed the National Anthem at the opening Men's BU Basketball game.

The Complete Idiot's Guide to Kaskeset
Kaskeset's fall semestester show, "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Kaskeset," was a success! They performed both old favorites and new ones, and had hilarious skits. Thanks to all of their friends, fans, and alumni who came to support! Click here for photos.

Family Weekend Concert
Alongside many other a cappella groups, Kaskeset performed Mima'amakim, Birthright, and V'ahavta at the Family Weekend Concert. Thank you to all of the families there supporting us!

Kaskeset Performs at the JCC
Kaskeset was thrilled to perform at the JCC in Vestal for their biennial Jewish Ethnic Festival.

Dollar Show!

Spring , 2007:
Kaskeset's Got Talent!
Kaskeset participated in the campus-wide competition of "Binghamton's got Talent," and was selected to go to the final round! The event was a fundraiser, and they were happy that they were able to help raise money for St. Jude's Hospital.

Kaskeset Performs in Westchester
Kaskeset performed at Bet Torah Synagogue, in Mt. Kisco NY at a "Shabbat for Everyone" event. Singing both Friday night and Saturday afternoon, Kaskeset brought wonderful music to Shabbat.

Tenth Anniversary Show a Huge Success!
Old Shul, Kaskeset's 10th anniversary show, went over unbelievably well. Alumni performed along side current group members, creating a very special and unforgettable evening. As always, thanks to our fans for all of your support! Click here for photos.

Charity Event in Syracuse
Kaskeset performed at Adath Yeshurun at a charity event for the Children's Hospital of Syracuse. They were so glad to be a part of this very special cause and to come together with other singing groups to make this event successful. Click here for photos.

BOJAC features Kaskeset on four tracks
BOJAC, the Best of Jewish A Cappella CD recently released, will feature Kaskeset on four out of the 22 tracks! The CD features two songs from Drop it Like it's Treif: Bo'i Kallah and Boheimishe Rhapsody. Additionally, Six13 which includes four Kaskeset alumni, Mike, Stu, Alan, and Avi, sing Yigdal. The track Eyshes Chayil includes current member Dori, as well as alumna Tamar.

Kaskeset Performs at JTS
Kaskeset performed at the 17th annual Jewish Collegiate Festival for the Performing Arts, held at the Jewish Theological Seminary. Performing among many talented Jewish a cappella groups and a dance troupe, Kaskeset closed the show with a bang. Thanks to our many fans and alumni who came to support us! Click here for photos.

Dollar Show
Binghamton a cappella fans were once again blown away with Kaskeset's outstanding performance at the Dollar Show. Singing Generations, When You Believe, Oz V'hadar and Shir L'shalom, Kaskeset impressed the audience with their tight harmonies and awesome dance moves. Kaskeset could not be more thrilled about their two newest members, Allie Metcalfe and Ted Trembinski! Click here for photos.

Kaskeset Remembers Martin Luther King, Jr.
Kaskeset took songs of hope and peace including "When You Believe" and "Shir L'Shalom," and performed them at Ohev Shalom in Washington DC alongside the Green Pastures Church Choir from the Bronx. 

Kaskeset was later invited to the Martin Luther King Jr. event at the Hebrew Institute of Riverdale with the Green Pastures Church Choir and Neshema Charlebach, where Kaskeset performed Zamru. Click here for photos.

Kaskeset Winter '07 Tour: The Nation's Capital
Performing for over 1000 people along the course of their tour, Kaskeset received standing ovations for superb performances, and educational workshops with Hebrew school students. Click here for photos.

Fall , 2006:
Shabbat of Unity
 Kaskeset performed at Hillel's Shabbat of Unity. They sang three favorites, Zamru, Nachamu, and T'filah. They were glad that they were able to participate in this event.

Women's Cabaret
The ladies of Kaskeset performed 'Haray At' at the Chabad Women's Cabaret. They were flattered to perform among such great talent!

Semester show "Harold and Kumar go to Kaskastle" a smashing success
6 members of the group had their first semester show, and it went off without a hitch. Kaskeset filled Lecture Hall 1 with their usual mix of tight harmonies, hot dance moves and comedic video skits.

Hillel coffee house
Kaskeset sang at the Hillel coffee house among many other talented performers. It was an honor to perform at such a nice community event.

Family weekend
Kaskeset performed with Binghamton's other a cappella groups at Family weekend. They are proud to partake in this annual tradition.

Dollar show
Kaskeset's performance at the dollar show with Balbeli, Birthright, and Shir L'shalom brought in a record number of auditionees. Kaskeset welcomes its 5 newest members: Ilana Fried, Ayla Gordon, Mordy Greenspan, Sarah Leiner, Sophie Nusinov.

Summer , 2006:
Kaskeset Opens for Six13!
  Kaskeset was proud to open for Six13 at the world famous Makor in downtown Manhattan. Professional Jewish a cappella group Six13 was created by founding members of Kaskeset Mike Boxer, Avi Ishofsky, Stu Mayer and Alan Zeitlin.

Spring , 2006:
Israeli Independence!
 To celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut, Kaskeset performed for the block party held by Hillel in the Dickinson Amphitheater. They performed classic Israeli favorites such as Noladati La Shalom and Shir La Shalom, and new favorites like Boi Kallah and Balbeli Oto.

Kaskeset then went over to the Binghamton JCC for more celebration of Israel's independence. They started out the night joining with the children of the JCC for Israel's national anthem, then went on to sing an extended set with the kids getting up on stage to dance with Kaskeset.

Welcome New Member!
  Kaskeset welcomes its newest member, Lewis Levenberg '08.

'Kaskeset Fools' Spring Show A Hit!
  Kasksets Spring show was a huge succes. Kaskeset at its best! They would especially like to thank NYU's Ani V'Ata an amazing opening act. On a sad note,
Kaskeset wishes off it's five graduating members and wishes them all the best in any
future endeavors.

Kaskeset Performs For Childrens Hebrew School
  On March 5th Kaskeset appeared at Syracuse to teach children about A Cappella and held a small yet well recieved performance for the children and their respective parents and teachers.

Kaskeset Appearence Snowed Out
  JTS's annual Jewish A Cappella convention, meant to be held February 12, was cancelled due to intense winter storms. A snow weary Kaskeset looks forward to a chance to perform next year.

  Kaskeset will be going on their "Drop It Like It's Treif" Tour to celebrate their new

July 25 , 2005:
New Kaskeset CD Announced!
Kaskeset is currently recording its final two tracks for the new cd to be released November 2005. Listen to clips from "Drop It Like It's Treif" on the home page.

June, 2005:
Syracuse Jewish Music Festival
This weekend (June 20th) Kaskeset performed two sets at the Syracuse Jewish Music Festival. Following a 3 song teaser set Kaskeset had the honor of being invited up to sing 'anachnu m'vorachim', one of their favorite songs, with the songs' writer Rick Recht who also made an appearance at the festival. Following Rick Recht and a performance by the Keyna Hora Band, Kaskeset made their final and uproarious appearance before a crowd of cheering Jews. Kaskeset had a wonderful time and hopes to appear again next year.
