General "About" Binghamton University & Hillel at Binghamton FAQs

Hi! My name is Maya Yair and I'm a Junior majoring in Political Science, with a concentration in Global and International Affairs. Before attending Binghamton, I spent a gap-year in Israel on the Young Judaea Year Course program, which had an enormous effect on my passion for the Jewish state. Besides my responsibilities as President of Bearcats for Israel, I'm a DJ on the on-campus radio station, WHRW 90.5 Binghamton, and I volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club. I'm looking forward to helping the university's large Jewish population find their connection to Israel. With this vision in mind, I can't help but be excited for an incredible year!

Hey! My name is Roshana Sirkin and I am currently a Junior majoring in Integrative Neuroscience and minoring in Judaic Studies. I took a gap-year in Israel on a program called Nativ which really helped strengthen my connection to Israel. I'm not only involved with BC4I, but also am Stand With Us' Emerson fellow at Binghamton and a photographer for the Pipe Dream newspaper. I can't wait for this coming semester, with so many great events planned I'm excited for what's to come!

Ilana Ben-Ezra is a sophomore double majoring in history and political science and minoring in medieval studies. She is a fantastic fun loving gal who loves advocating for Israel. She would love to chat about anything related to Israel especially politics and the Iranian threat. Fun fact: she is from Florida.

Hey hey! My name is Danielle Levin and I am a sophomore at Binghamton University double majoring in Graphic Design and Management. I am involved on many on-campus groups including NCC, SAPB, and of course BC4I! I am the Public Relations Chair and cannot wait to see what we accomplish this year. I feel extremely connected to Israel, especially after spending a gap year in the Old City right next to the Kotel! Some of my favorite things include sudoku, Nicki Minaj, and Big Brother.
