Shana Teig Kantor is originally from Long Island, NY, like many of the Jewish students at Binghamton University. She holds masters' degrees from New York University in Non-profit Management and Jewish Studies. She has lived in Israel and studied for two years at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem.  Shana has worked for Hillel for eight years. Three of those years were in Hillel's Schusterman International Center in Washington, D.C., one as the director of Hillel's Collegiate Leadership Internship Program in Manhattan and for two years as the Director of Development at the University of Southern California Hillel. She has been the Executive Director for Hillel at Binghamton since fall 2007.  Shana is married to Rabbi Shalom Kantor and they have a daughter Rena and a son Noam.

Rabbi Shalom Kantor is the Hillel Campus Rabbi and an adjunct faculty member of the Judaic studies department at Binghamton University. He oversees everything from empowering those students already involved to become great Jewish leaders to engaging those students not yet involved with Jewish life to making sure that the door is locked at night and loves every minute of it. Originally from Sun Valley Idaho, Rabbi Kantor learned the how to use the natural surroundings as a source for spiritual journey and peer engagement. Before he had to get serious about life and go to rabbinical school he spent a year in Jerusalem pursuing his love of culinary Judaism by working full time as the chief Wine Steward at the King David Hotel. When he is not hanging out with students he spends his time with his wife and two children in and around the Binghamton hills.

Rebekkah Gold is the Development Associate for Hillel at Binghamton.  She recently graduated from Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development.  Rebekkah was a staff member for a Taglit-Birthright: Israel trip in June and is looking forward to maintaining connections with Hillel at Binghamton students. Rebekkah lives in Westchester County, New York, and will be working for Hillel at Binghamton from New York City. She enjoys spending time with her family, helping out with Jewish programming at her synagogue, and taking Zumba classes.
